The scanner supports AM, NFM, and WFM modulations with 5, 12.5, 25, and 50 kHz steps.

In terms of sensitivity, the UBC-9000 Scanner ranges from 25 to 512 MHz with a sensitivity of 0.4µV, 118 to 136 MHz, 225 to 399 MHz with a sensitivity of 1.0µV, and 406 to 1300 MHz with a sensitivity of 0.6µV.
